UT Extension Cannon County Kitchen – “Domestic Kitchen Rules”.
“ According to TDA staff, all food prepared for sale must be made in a TDA inspected and permitted facility. In other words, the “Domestic Kitchen” regulation is in effect as it was written. The regulation states that individuals, who wish to manufacture non-potentially hazardous foods in their home kitchen and intend to sell to the public, including at farmer’s markets, must comply with this rule. Additionally, the regulation requires successful completion of a food safety course that has been approved by TDA.”
